| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Sam G. "Sonny" Argiris of Niles; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Sonny Argiris was a proud member of the |
| 5 | | Brotherhood of Achladokambiton; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Sonny Argiris was the beloved husband of 62 years |
| 7 | | of Bertha S. (Peppas) Argiris; the loving father of Dean, |
| 8 | | Peter, and James Argiris; the dear "Pappou" of Sam (Meghan), |
| 9 | | Alexandra, and Niko Argiris; the cherished son of the late |
| 10 | | Gust and Bessie (Geroulis) Argiris; the fond brother of the |
| 11 | | late Anna Argiris; the dear brother-in-law of the late William |
| 12 | | Peppas, Constance (the late Thomas) Gekas, and Stella (the |
| 13 | | late John) Cocalis; and uncle and cousin of many; therefore, |

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 | | Sam G. "Sonny" Argiris and extend our sincere condolences to |
| 18 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
