SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Harold Ray Fleming of Milan, who 
4passed away on September 7, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming was born in East Springfield, Ohio 
6on February 23, 1930; he was the son of Harold and Mable 
7Markley Fleming; he served in the U.S. Air Force; he married 
8Sharon Wilson in Geneseo in 1990; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming worked as a production manager and 
10ammunitions specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal; he retired 
11in 1985; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming was a member of Milan American 
13Legion Post 569 and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Harold Fleming was preceded in death by his son, 
15Larry Fleming, and his sisters, Ann, Sandy, Susan, and Irene; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Harold Fleming was 
18survived by his wife, Sharon Fleming; his children, Lorrie 
19Jean (Dennis) Porter, Ronald Ray Fleming, Rhonda K. (Derek) 
20Norberg, Mark David (Kaew) Fleming, and Misty Dawn (Steven)

1Thiltgen; his nine grandchildren; his nine 
2great-grandchildren; his sister, Marjean Hamrick; and his 
3brothers, Charles (Edna) Fleming, Gary Fleming, and Wayne 
4Fleming; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Harold Ray Fleming and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Harold Fleming as an expression of 
12our deepest sympathy.
