| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Kenneth James "Kenny" Udehn, formerly |
| 4 | | of Moline, who passed away on April 9, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Udehn was born in Chicago to Carlysle and |
| 6 | | Catharine Belding Udehn on December 28, 1952; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Udehn was a member of Faith Lutheran Church |
| 8 | | and a founding member of New Kingdom Trailriders; he loved |
| 9 | | being involved in local sports, and he was a member of The Quad |
| 10 | | City Sled Hockey Association's (TQCSHA) sled hockey team and |
| 11 | | participated in waterskiing sponsored by Backwater Gamblers |
| 12 | | and St. Ambrose College; he was also passionate about camping, |
| 13 | | traveling, fishing, journaling, rock polishing and collecting, |
| 14 | | bowling, scrapbooking, and watching movies, game shows, and |
| 15 | | soap operas; he especially enjoyed family trips to South |
| 16 | | Dakota and Disney World; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Udehn was a well-known, active, and beloved |
| 18 | | fixture within the Quad Cities community; he was known for his |
| 19 | | special way of lighting up any room with his infectious smile |
| 20 | | and for giving so much love to so many; his presence will be |
| 21 | | greatly missed, and his legacy will live on in all the lives he |
| 22 | | touched within the community; and
