SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Arthur Elwood Price of Orion, who 
4passed away on April 19, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Arthur Price was born in Chariton County, 
6Missouri to James Arthur and Nevada (Sprouse) Price on May 23, 
71929; he served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany, 
8where he met Leni Luders; they married in Canada in 1953; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Arthur Price worked as a farmer; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Arthur Price enjoyed traveling with his family; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Arthur Price was preceded in death by his wife,  
13Leni, and his son, Arthur Lee Price; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Arthur Price is survived by his brother, Elmer 
15(Edna) Price; his sister, Mildred Manson; and his nieces and 
16nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Arthur Elwood Price and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
2further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to  the family of  Arthur Price as an expression of our
