SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Jon D. Kirkpatrick of Milan, who 
4passed away on March 17, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jon Kirkpatrick was born in Moline to Lonny and 
6Margaret (Simoens) Kirkpatrick on April 5, 1968; he served in 
7the U.S. Army and married Lori Waddell in April of 1995; he 
8married Dawn Smith in North Liberty, Iowa on May 5, 2019; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jon Kirkpatrick was a HVAC technician for A1 
10Morris Heating and Cooling in Davenport, Iowa; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Jon Kirkpatrick enjoyed fishing, cooking, 
12camping, and spending time with his family and friends; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jon Kirkpatrick was preceded in death by his 
14father, Lonny Kirkpatrick; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, Jon Kirkpatrick is survived by his wife, Dawn; 
16his mother, Margaret Burrows; his children, Amanda Knorr, 
17Dustin (Ali) Kirkpatrick, Cody Kirkpatrick (Amanda Krider), 
18Shaunee Kirkpatrick, and Hannah Kirkpatrick; several 
19grandchildren; and his brother, Scott (Jenni) Kirkpatrick;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Jon D. Kirkpatrick and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Jon Kirkpatrick as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
