| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of David L. Creason, who passed away on |
| 4 | | March 9, 2020; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, David Creason was born to Galena and Mike Creason |
| 6 | | on December 30, 1944; he was one of six children; he graduated |
| 7 | | from New Trier High School and earned his Bachelor of Science |
| 8 | | from the University of Illinois Chicago; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, David Creason served as treasurer on the Our Lady |
| 10 | | of Grace and the St. Juliana's School Boards, was a
member and |
| 11 | | treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Council,
was a founding |
| 12 | | member and chairman of the Logan Concerned Citizens,
served as |
| 13 | | treasurer for the Citizens Action Program, was a
founding |
| 14 | | member of the Northwest Neighborhood Federation, was
one of |
| 15 | | the founding members of the Organizing Committee for the |
| 16 | | Norwest Side, served as
first chairman of the Home Equity |
| 17 | | Commission, and was a partner in Chicagoland Housing where he |
| 18 | | renovated houses predominantly in Chicago's Austin |
| 19 | | neighborhood; he also sang in the St. Juliana Choir for 28 |
| 20 | | years; and
|
| 21 | | WHEREAS, David Creason was a longtime fan of the Chicago |
| 22 | | Bulls; he was the proud owner of Jonquil, Frosty, and Kori; and
