SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Robert "Bob" G. Krueger of Rock 
4Island, who passed away on May 1, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Krueger was born to Roy and Mildred 
6(Rounds) Krueger in Muscatine, Iowa on February 23, 1938; he 
7married Sandra Lingafelter in Preemption on December 18, 1965; 
8he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Franklin Roosevelt; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Krueger worked as a machine repairman for 
10JI Case and Case IH; he helped drive cars for Erickson 
11Chevrolet to other dealerships; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Krueger was highly involved in the Milan 
13Little League and Senior League and coached five state 
14championship teams; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Krueger was an avid Chicago Cubs and 
16Chicago Bulls fan; he enjoyed woodworking, bowling, golfing, 
17and landscaping his yard with flowers and plants; most of all, 
18he loved to spend time with his family, especially his 
19grandchildren, and to watch them play sports; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Robert Krueger was preceded in death by his

1parents and his siblings, Jackie Atkinson, Roland Krueger, and 
2Richard Krueger; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, Robert Krueger is survived by his wife; his 
4daughter, Annette Hillyer; his son, Kevin (Natasha) Krueger; 
5his grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam, Evan, and Abigail Hillyer 
6and Tyrus, Nolan, and Tenley Krueger; his great-grandson, 
7Jackson Hillyer; and his sister, Marilyn Beam; therefore, be 
8it
  
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
11Robert "Bob" G. Krueger and extend our sincere condolences to 
12his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
13further
  
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
15presented to the family of Robert Krueger as an expression of 
16our deepest sympathy.
