| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Alan R. "Al" Tebbe of Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on May 24, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Alan Tebbe was born in Moline to Alvin and Pearl |
| 6 | | (Bendt) Tebbe on July 26, 1941; he graduated from Rock Island |
| 7 | | High School in 1959; he served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to |
| 8 | | 1963, where he acquired Signal Corps and electronic training; |
| 9 | | he married Karen Humberstone in 1961, and they had three |
| 10 | | daughters; he married Joyce Trainor in 1980; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Alan Tebbe was employed as a machine operator by |
| 12 | | three local companies, Ametek, International Harvester, and |
| 13 | | Prime Mover; he also worked as a part-time auto mechanic for 15 |
| 14 | | years; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Alan Tebbe enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, |
| 16 | | spending time with his dogs, and skiing; he was known for |
| 17 | | making vacation decisions based on his desire to hunt ducks |
| 18 | | daily; he enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time at |
| 19 | | their cabin in northern Wisconsin, where they enjoyed boating, |
| 20 | | fishing, and spending time together and with their friends; |
