SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Lori S. Weiss of Morton, who passed 
4away on June 10, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lori Weiss was born to Robert and Shirley 
6(Greiner) Houghton in Peoria on March 4, 2021; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Lori Weiss retired from the Office of the 
8Illinois Secretary of State on May 1, 2021; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Lori Weiss loved to spend time with her 
10grandchildren whether it was attending their sporting events, 
11doing crafts, playing legos, or having other adventures; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Lori Weiss was preceded in death by her parents; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lori Weiss is survived by her three children, 
15Marc (Megan) Houghton, Kris (Tiffany Feger) Weiss, and Carrie 
16(Marc Feldhaus) Weiss, and her seven grandchildren, Rylee, 
17Marcus, Onaleigh, Jace, Jaxon, Oakley, and Jett; therefore, be

19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Lori S. Weiss and extend our sincere condolences to her 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

6presented to the family of Lori Weiss as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
