| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Richard H. Amy of Milan, who passed |
| 4 | | away on July 4, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Richard Amy was born to Enos and Crystle Amy on |
| 6 | | October 24, 1928; he served in the U.S. Navy; he married |
| 7 | | Frances Heston on October 4, 1951, and they had two children, |
| 8 | | Richard and Reita; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Richard Amy worked for the Iowa-Illinois Gas and |
| 10 | | Electric Company; he retired after 35 years; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Richard Amy was a 50-year Mason and a member of |
| 12 | | the KAABA Shrine; he loved hunting, fishing, jewelry making, |
| 13 | | and his family; he never missed a moment to watch his six |
| 14 | | grandchildren in events at Rockridge, with his camera in hand, |
| 15 | | and especially enjoyed spending time with his |
| 16 | | great-grandchildren; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Richard Amy was preceded in death by his wife; |
| 18 | | his parents; his brother, Boyd Amy; and his sister, Reita |
| 19 | | Downing; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Richard Amy is survived by his son, Richard |
