| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Gregory C. Schrof of Bloomington, |
| 4 | | formerly of Forrest, who passed away on November 4, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Gregory Schrof was born in Fairbury to Carl G. |
| 6 | | and Ernestine (Earles) Schrof on November 20, 1959; he |
| 7 | | graduated from Forrest-Strawn-Wing High School and attended |
| 8 | | Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Gregory Schrof was employed at Schrof Companies |
| 10 | | and Peiker/Piatchek Associates; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Gregory Schrof was a member of the Mid-Illinois |
| 12 | | Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, |
| 13 | | and Illinois Realtors; he was also a member of Bloomington |
| 14 | | Lodge #43 A.F. & A.M., the Mohammed Shrine, and the Royal Order |
| 15 | | of Jesters ct. 40; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Gregory Schrof was an avid golfer; he was a |
| 17 | | dedicated Jimmy Buffet fan and a lifelong Republican; family |
| 18 | | was his top priority, and he exemplified the very definition |
| 19 | | of unconditional love; he was affectionately know as "Opa" to |
| 20 | | his three grandsons, who brought him great pride, joy, and |
| 21 | | lots of laughter; he was a friend to many and was the first to |
