SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Thomas Henry McIntire of East Moline, 
4who  passed on July 13, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire was born in East Moline to Albert 
6Allison and Violet Beatrice Gillan McIntire on July 17, 1939; 
7he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1960 as an 
8aircraft mechanic at Whiteman Air Base in Missouri; he married  
9Nancy Wells in East Moline in 1960, and they later divorced; 
10and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire was an avid goat farmer, hobby 
12farmer, and animal lover, especially his beloved Toby; he 
13loved auctions, antiques, flea markets, and model plane 
14building and flying; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire was preceded in death by his 
16parents; his sister, Catherine; his brothers, Jack, David, 
17Alvin, Gary, and Albert Jr.; his son, Scott Thomas; and his  
18granddaughter, Ashley Nicole; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire is survived by his sons, Jeffrey 
20(Ronnie), Mark, and Douglas; 11 grandchildren; 14 
21great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Thomas Henry McIntire and extend our sincere condolences to 
5his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Thomas McIntire as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
