SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Ronald Eugene McGee of East Moline, 
4who passed away on July 30, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald McGee was born to  Billie Victor and Ruby 
6Jane (Teeter) McGee in Oskaloosa, Iowa on July 9, 1939; he 
7served in the U.S. Air Force; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ronald McGee was an engineer with Moline 
9Consumers; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ronald McGee was a member of Silvis Lodge #898, 
11AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Moline, Eagles Lodge, 
12and Operating Engineers Local 150; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Ronald McGee enjoyed yard work, gardening, 
14cooking, and golf; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ronald McGee is  survived by his three children; 
16Lorrie Stogsdill, Randy (Emily) McGee, and Shawn (Rose) McGee; 
17his five grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; his 
18sister, Linda Handling; and his special friend, Rachel Morrow;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Ronald Eugene McGee and we extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Ronald McGee as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
