| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Susan Ann (Nichols) Lindberg, who |
| 4 | | passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 74; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Susan Lindberg was a creative genius who acted, |
| 6 | | directed, choreographed, danced, and wrote professionally; she |
| 7 | | was a founding member of the community theater group Oak Park |
| 8 | | Musical Theatre (OPMT); and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Susan Lindberg was dedicated to Oak Park School |
| 10 | | District 97, and she developed and oversaw the Integrated Arts |
| 11 | | Program at Emerson/Brooks Middle School; she also directed the |
| 12 | | Children's Theatre for Village Players; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Susan Lindberg spent her post-retirement years |
| 14 | | giving tours at Ernest Hemingway's birthplace; her final |
| 15 | | acting roles were as Emma Goldman and Grace Hall Hemingway; |
| 16 | | and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Susan Lindberg was an aficionado of Cary Grant |
| 18 | | movies; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Susan Lindberg was preceded in death by her |
| 20 | | parents, Robert and Rosetta Nichols; her siblings, Robert E. |
