SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Mary A. Buckley, formerly of 
4Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on October 25, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Buckley was born in Moline to Raymond and 
6Helen (Bermel) Leenknecht on October 20, 1937; she graduated 
7from Rock Island Alleman High School in 1955 and  was united in 
8marriage to William B. Buckley at St. Mary's Catholic Church 
9in East Moline on June 3, 1961; and
  
 

  
10    WHEREAS, Mary Buckley was preceded in death by her 
11husband, Bill; her sisters, Ruth Ann Hardy and Irene 
12Williamson; and her brother, Arthur; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Buckley is survived by her son, James 
14(Kathleen) Buckley; her daughter, Rhonda (Larry Sr.) Pruden; 
15her brother, Alfred (Thomasa) Leenknecht; and her 
16grandchildren, Bridget Buckley, Will Leasman, Holly Lilly, and 
17Larry Pruden Jr.; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Mary A. Buckley and extend our sincere condolences to her  
21family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
