SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Marvin F. Bundy Sr. of Milan, who 
4passed away on November 14, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy was born to Floyd and Stora (Green) 
6Bundy in La Harpe on April 19, 1938; he served in the  U.S. 
7Army; he married Teresa Melchi in Rock Island on December 14, 
81974; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy worked for Quad City Die Casting for 
1030 years, retiring in 2001; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed 
12hunting and fishing; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy was preceded in death by his 
14parents; his sons, Terry Bundy and Marvin Bundy II; his 
15granddaughter, Jessica Housby; and his siblings, Victor Bundy, 
16Merle Bundy, and Carma Hulting; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Marvin Bundy is survived by his wife, Teresa; his 
18grandchildren, Amber Bundy, Matt Bundy, and Alicia Clark; his 
19great-grandchildren, Sean, Aiden, Savannah, and Dominic; his 
20brother, Patrick Bundy; and his brother-in-law, Roy Hulting;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Marvin F. Bundy Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Marvin Bundy as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
