| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Franklin "Frank" Dall of Aviston, who |
| 4 | | passed away on November 9, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Frank Dall was born on the family farm in Aviston |
| 6 | | to Edward and Clara (Korte) Dall on July 13, 1940; he married |
| 7 | | Joann Voss at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese on June 9, |
| 8 | | 1960; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Frank Dall was a retired dairy farmer; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Frank Dall collected and restored vintage John |
| 11 | | Deere tractors and enjoyed going on tractor drives; he was a |
| 12 | | member of St. Francis Church, where he was a former trustee; he |
| 13 | | was a former member of the Aviston Elementary School Board and |
| 14 | | a member of Prairie Farms Dairy; he enjoyed hunting and |
| 15 | | attending auctions, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time |
| 16 | | with his family; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Frank Dall was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 18 | | his daughter, Carla Knackstedt; his granddaughters, Hannah and |
| 19 | | Nicole Knackstedt; his brother, Jerry Dall; his sister, Betty |
| 20 | | (Don) Scott; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, August |
| 21 | | and Rose Voss; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Frank Dall is survived by his wife of 61 years, |
| 2 | | Joann; his children, Kevin (Melinda) Dall, Mark (Jan) Dall, |
| 3 | | Gary (Erin) Dall, Coleen (Craig) Klein, and Jolyn (Matt) |
| 4 | | Johnson; his son-in-law, Kent Knackstedt; his grandchildren, |
| 5 | | Annie Dall (Dante Yokley), William Dall, Hillary (Chris) |
| 6 | | Frost, Clinton Dall, Morgan (Lee) Davis, Lydia Dall, Justin |
| 7 | | Knackstedt (Amara Hartnagel), Tori, Taylor, and Emma Dall, |
| 8 | | Jacob (Merissa) Kriegel, Chad (Taylor) Klein, Chase Klein |
| 9 | | (Morgan McAteer), Tyler, Payton, and Shelby Tarr, and Justin |

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 | | Franklin "Frank" Dall and extend our sincere condolences to |
| 19 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 20 | | further

| 21 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 | | presented to the family of Frank Dall as an expression of our |
| 23 | | deepest sympathy.
