| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Jack E. Fitzpatrick of Rock Island, |
| 4 | | who passed away on November 6, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was born to Frank N. and Martha |
| 6 | | M. (Lannoo) Fitzpatrick in Moline on January 17, 1932; he |
| 7 | | proudly served in the U.S. Air Force; he married Janet R. |
| 8 | | Hodson in Rock Island on January 5, 1958; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick worked in sales in a variety of |
| 10 | | roles and retired from Bonnett Wholesale Florist in 1994; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was a longtime member of Good |
| 12 | | Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Rock Island where he served in |
| 13 | | various positions; he was also a member of former Rock Island |
| 14 | | American Legion Post #200; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and |
| 16 | | enjoyed woodworking; above all, he loved spending time with |
| 17 | | his family; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was preceded in death by his |
| 19 | | parents; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine (Bob) Bonnett |
| 20 | | and Marilyn (Ben) Hodson; and his great-granddaughter, Emma |
