SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Peter Kroll of Chicago, who passed 
4away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 74; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Peter Kroll was known by his legions of fans as a 
6Highland Park High School football legend, and he will be 
7remembered by his loved ones as the best kind of person you 
8could ever hope to call your father, husband, friend, or 
9relative; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Peter Kroll had a smile that lit up a room, a 
11heart that glowed brilliantly, and the ability to see the 
12positive in everything and everyone; he leaves behind a legacy 
13of joy, adventure, connection and beautiful memories; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Peter Kroll was preceded in death by his 
15daughter, Dana Kroll; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Peter Kroll is survived by his wife and very best 
17friend, Torrie Flink; his daughters, Kim (Kevin) Wolfberg, 
18Olivia (Gary) Belmonti, and Vanessa Flink-Larsen; and his 
19grandchildren, Oliver, Thomas, and Margaret Wolfberg and 
20Fiona, Luca, and Celeste Belmonti; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Peter Kroll and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Peter Kroll as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
