| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of David "Dave" Francis Craigmile of Lake |
| 4 | | Forest, who passed away on December 3, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dave Craigmile was born to Charles S. and Nellie |
| 6 | | M. (Truby) Craigmile in Oak Park on June 6, 1928; he was a |
| 7 | | proud graduate of Hinsdale Central High School, Drake |
| 8 | | University, and the Wharton School of Business at the |
| 9 | | University of Pennsylvania; he served in the U.S. Army; he |
| 10 | | married Carol Maurer in 1955, another volunteer he met when he |
| 11 | | served as Vice Chairman of the DuPage Illinois Young |
| 12 | | Republicans; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Dave Craigmile was a manufacturing executive who |
| 14 | | served in roles of advancing responsibility at Bell & Howell, |
| 15 | | Jostens, Skil Corp., and the Elkay Manufacturing Company, |
| 16 | | where he retired as president in 1995; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Dave Craigmile was preceded in death by his |
| 18 | | parents and his brother, Winston; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Dave Craigmile is survived by his wife of 66 |
| 20 | | years; his children, Deborah (Charles) Barrett, Jennifer |
| 21 | | (Michael) Neubauer, Catherine (Rod) Romanchuk, and David, |
