SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Joseph Anthony Di Iulio of Moline, who
4passed away on December 11, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Di Iulio was born to Antonio and Tommasina
6(Compana) Di Iulio in Moline on December 19, 1932; he
7graduated from East Moline High School in 1950 and attended
8Moline Community College; he served as a communication chief
9in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955; he married Dolores Ann
10"Dee" Hulse at St. Anne Catholic Church on February 26, 1983;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Joseph Di Iulio worked as an electronic
13technician with Bendix Aviation, Davenport from 1956 to 1970;
14he was one of the founders of Agricultural Electronics,
15Bettendorf and was with the company from 1970 until 1977; he
16worked as a stock broker with Stifel Nicolaus, Moline from
171977 to 1990 and then with Robert B. Ausdal, Davenport from
181990 until his retirement in April of 2004; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Joseph Di Iulio was preceded in death by his
20parents and his siblings, Della (Albert) Dumolien, Edith
21Senatra, Louis Di Iulio, and Anne (Bob) Steele; and

1    WHEREAS, Joseph Di Iulio is survived by his wife, Dee; his
2brother-in-law, Phil Senatra; his sister-in-law, Marlene Di
3Iulio; his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and
4great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and
5great-great-nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Joseph Anthony Di Iulio and extend our sincere condolences to
9his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Joseph Di Iulio as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
