SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Charles Kerofsky of Moline, who passed 
4away on December 31, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky was born to Maryan and 
6Bronislawa (Jalbrzykowska) Kerofsky in Moline on May 23, 1928; 
7he served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean 
8Conflict; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky was employed as a repairman at 
10the former Western Electric; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky was preceded in death by his 
12parents, his seven sisters, and his six brothers; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky is survived by his nieces and 
14nephews, Michael Kerofsky, Gary Kerofsky, Donna Lawhorn, Marie 
15Kuchara, Cindy Kallman, Thomas Freund, and Jerry Freund; 
16therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Charles Kerofsky and extend our sincere condolences to his 
20family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
