| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Jack William Frey of Rock Island, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 5, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jack Frey was born to James and Mary (Van |
| 6 | | DePutte) Frey in Moline on October 12, 1936; he served in the |
| 7 | | U.S. Air Force for nine years, and he was very proud of his |
| 8 | | service, which was cut short due to disability; he married |
| 9 | | Mary Lou Brown in Geneseo on October 31, 1964, and she preceded |
| 10 | | him in death on January 6, 2020; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jack Frey served as an electrician for |
| 12 | | International Harvester before its closing; he then worked at |
| 13 | | the Rock Island Arsenal until he retired; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Jack Frey was a member of Bethel Church in Rock |
| 15 | | Island; he enjoyed reading, studying history, vacationing, and |
| 16 | | traveling; he loved his many cats over the years; above all |
| 17 | | else, his family was the most important thing to him, |
| 18 | | especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Jack Frey was preceded in death by his parents |
| 20 | | and his wife; and
