SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Gary K. Warner of Park Ridge, formerly 
4of Niles, who passed away on January 9, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Gary Warner was born on November 12, 1933; he 
6served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Gary Warner was elected township clerk seven 
8terms starting in 1986; prior to his election as clerk, he 
9served one term as Maine Township Collector; he was also a 
10member of the Park Ridge Police Department citizen patrol; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Gary Warner was Past Commander of AMVETS Post 
12#36, Past Grand Knight of North American Martyrs Post #4338, 
13and Past Commander of the Park Ridge American Legion; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Gary Warner was a member of many fraternal and 
15civic organizations and a friend to all; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Gary Warner was the beloved husband of Arlene; 
17the loving father of John (the late Ellyn) Warner, Diana (Don) 
18Rage, and Keith (Shani) Warner; the cherished grandfather of 
19six  and great-grandfather of three; the dear brother of Leitha 
20Vollick, Priscilla Gordon, and Richard Warner; and the fond

1uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Gary K. Warner and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Gary Warner as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
