| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of John L. Angel of East Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 12, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Angel was born in Moline to Adolph and Emma |
| 6 | | (Roscoe) Angel on June 20, 1930; he served in the U.S. Air |
| 7 | | Force during the Korean War and was stationed in Okinawa, |
| 8 | | Japan for four years; he married Jacqueline Hanneman at St. |
| 9 | | Mary's Church in Hampton on September 24, 1955; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, John Angel retired from John Deere Harvester |
| 11 | | after 38 years of service as a tool and die maker; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, John Angel was an outdoorsman and loved |
| 13 | | everything to do with nature; he especially enjoyed bow |
| 14 | | hunting for deer with Mike and golfing with his grandsons; he |
| 15 | | was a jack of all trades and a loving husband, father, |
| 16 | | grandfather, and great-grandfather; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, John Angel was preceded in death by his wife, |
| 18 | | Jacqueline; his parents; his stepfather, Sid Bosoluke; and his |
| 19 | | son, John Angel; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, John Angel is survived by his son, Mike (Kim) |
