| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Brian L. Kempf of Rock Island, who |
| 4 | | passed away on February 16, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Brian Kempf was born to August and Gladys |
| 6 | | Muhleman Kempf in Rock Island on May 3, 1946; he graduated from |
| 7 | | Rock Island High School in 1964; he served in the U.S. Navy |
| 8 | | during the Vietnam War; he graduated from Western Illinois |
| 9 | | University; he continued his studies and received an |
| 10 | | additional degree from Black Hawk College; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Brian Kempf was employed with Handy True Value |
| 12 | | Hardware for many years; he also enjoyed working with |
| 13 | | computers; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Brian Kempf was an avid supporter and attendee of |
| 15 | | Rock Island High School sports; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Brian Kempf was preceded in death by his parents |
| 17 | | and his sister, Donna Willis; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Brian Kempf is survived by his brothers, Marvin |
| 19 | | (Susan) Kempf, Kenneth Kempf, and William "Bill" (Joelyn) |
| 20 | | Kempf; his many nieces and nephews; and other family members; |
