SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Charles A. "Chuck" Hanna of Moline, 
4who passed away on May 4, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Chuck Hanna was born in Moline to Jim and Fern 
6Heegan Hanna on June 28, 1952; he served in the U.S. Air Force 
7from 1971 to 1973 and married Victoria "Vicki" Freeman in Rock 
8Island on March 31, 1979; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Chuck Hanna was employed with American Air Filter 
10and later St. Luke's Hospital as an assistant perfusionist; he 
11retired from UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island from the 
12cardiac cath lab; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Chuck Hanna enjoyed golfing at Indian Bluff and 
14loved spending time with his family and friends; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Chuck Hanna was preceded in death by his parents 
16and his siblings, Mark and Robyn Hanna; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Chuck Hanna is survived by his wife, Vicki; his 
18sons, Christopher Hanna (Michelle Nehlson) and Cory Hanna; his 
19daughter, Courtney Taylor; his granddaughter, Molly Victoria; 
20his grandson, Brody; his step-grandchildren, Madilyn and

1Caeson; his sister, Marsha (Dennis) Boarts; and many nieces 
2and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Charles A. "Chuck" Hanna  and extend our sincere condolences to 
6his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Chuck Hanna as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
