| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Victor Wayman Hale of Rock Island, who |
| 4 | | passed away on May 11, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Victor Hale was born to Cluster and Janetta |
| 6 | | (Robinson) Hale in Hannibal, Missouri on December 16, 1936; |
| 7 | | and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Victor Hale retired from the Rock Island Post |
| 9 | | Office; he always had several side businesses, including |
| 10 | | carpet sales, the grocery business, and real estate; he was a |
| 11 | | jack of all trades as well as a businessman; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Victor Hale was preceded in death by his parents |
| 13 | | and his brother, Charles Harding; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Victor Hale is survived by his beloved daughter, |
| 15 | | Victoria Bell; his three grandchildren, Xavier D. Clark, Javin |
| 16 | | N. Whiteside, and Javon D. Whiteside Jr.; his great-grandson, |
| 17 | | Ashton J. Whiteside; his siblings, Mary "Penny" Kyle, Chester |
| 18 | | Hale, Sharon Hale, and Gloria Vonentzminger; his daughter's |
| 19 | | mother and his close friend, Lillie M. Bell; his devoted |
| 20 | | friend, Charles Muscovalley; and his many nieces and nephews; |
