| 3 | | to learn of the death of Patrick J. "Pat" VandeKerckhove of |
| 4 | | Moline, who passed away on June 18, 2022; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Pat VandeKerckhove was born to Albert and Loretta |
| 6 | | (DeWaganaere) VandeKerckhove in Moline on December 13, 1942; |
| 7 | | he married Karen Smith at Sacred Heart Church in Moline on May |
| 8 | | 18, 1968; he served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in |
| 9 | | Ethiopia; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Pat VandeKerckhove worked as a letter carrier for |
| 11 | | the Moline Post Office; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Pat VandeKerckhove was a member of Sacred Heart |
| 13 | | Church in Moline, where he served as an usher; he was a past |
| 14 | | chief ranger of the Catholic Order of Foresters Sacred Heart |
| 15 | | Court 651 and past member of Boy Scout Troop 109, where he |
| 16 | | earned the Arrow Of Light badge; he was also a member of the |
| 17 | | Moline Activity Center, the Ex Servicemen's Camp, the Moline |
| 18 | | American Legion, the Center for Belgium Culture, the Moline |
| 19 | | Elks Club, the Friends Circle Club, and the Moline Post Office |
| 20 | | Union; and
|
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Pat VandeKerckhove enjoyed golfing, playing |
