SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Norman B. Bost of East Moline, who 
4passed away on July 8, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Norman Bost was born to George and Mildred Brown 
6Bost in Elgin on July 1, 1933; he served in the U. S. Air Force 
7during the Korean War; he married Joan D. Egan in Moline on 
8September 17, 1960, and she preceded him in death on April 7, 
92014; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Norman Bost was employed at International 
11Harvester in East Moline for many years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Norman Bost was a member of the U.A.W.; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Norman Bost was preceded in death by his parents; 
14his wife; and his brother, Dean Bost; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Norman Bost is survived by his sister, Louise 
16Lateer; his sister-in-law, Kathy Bost; his brother, Harold 
17(Shirley) Bost; his sister, Sally (Larry) McMullen; and his 
18nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Norman B. Bost and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Norman Bost as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
