SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Donald F. Schweska of Moline, who 
4passed away on August 2, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Schweska was born to Fred and Pearl 
6Schweska in Springfield on September 16, 1938; he married 
7Judith Lyons Yeager in Rock Island on April 2, 1971; he served 
8as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and was very proud of 
9being a Marine; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Donald Schweska retired as a printer pressman 
11from Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Donald Schweska was a member of many bowling 
13leagues and served as secretary in the Milan Classic League; 
14he bowled in the American Bowling Congress Championship and 
15was inducted into the Greater Rock Island County USBC Hall of 
16Fame; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Donald Schweska is survived by his wife, Judith 
18"Judie"; his children, Thomas Schweska, Susan Lang, Michael 
19Schweska, John Schweska, William "Bart" (Maria) Yeager, and 
20Bradley (Peggy) Yeager; his 18 grandchildren; and his 19 
21great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Donald F. Schweska and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Donald Schweska as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
