SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Ralph R. Crist of Colona, who  passed 
4away on August 8, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ralph Crist was born in Colona to Robert and 
6Bessie (Deem) Crist on January 21, 1924; he served in the U.S. 
7Army during World War II with the 44th Division 63rd Combat 
8Engineers A Company; he married Kathryn L. Lundahl in East 
9Moline on June 23, 1946; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ralph Crist worked at International Harvester as 
11a combine repairman for 30 years, retiring in 1976; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Ralph Crist was a member of the Foresters and 
13American Legion Post 1233 in Colona; he was an all-around 
14handyman and enjoyed fixing things and working in his garage; 
15he also built two homes; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Ralph Crist was preceded in death by his wife, 
17Kathryn; his parents; and his siblings, Sam Crist, Allen 
18Crist, Mary Lou Chrisop, and Barb Miller; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Ralph Crist is survived by his children, Bob 
20(Mary Kay) and Sandi Crist; his grandchildren, Allen (Ana) and

1Keith Crist; and his cat, Miss Kitty; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Ralph R. Crist and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Ralph Crist as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
