| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Paul H. Schold, who passed away on |
| 4 | | August 29, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Schold was born to Paul and Angela |
| 6 | | (Giovenazzo) Schold in Moline on April 3, 1948; he graduated |
| 7 | | from United Township High School in 1966; he served as an |
| 8 | | aviation electrician in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1973, where |
| 9 | | he was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 17, Early Warning Squadron |
| 10 | | VAW-123, serving on four aircraft carriers; he attended Black |
| 11 | | Hawk College and the University of Montana; he graduated from |
| 12 | | the University of Illinois in Urbana; he attended Utah State |
| 13 | | University for post-graduate studies, specializing in |
| 14 | | Landscape Architecture; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Paul Schold was employed as ISO coordinator and |
| 16 | | warranty administrator by McLaughlin Body Company in Moline |
| 17 | | for 23 years; he retired in 2020; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Paul Schold enjoyed fishing, camping, |
| 19 | | photography, hunting, and traveling; in his recent years, his |
| 20 | | friends Beau, Bo, and Benny ensured his time was spent making |
| 21 | | meaningful memories, hunting, fishing, and having fun while |
| 22 | | completing his bucket list; and
