| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Russell Wayne Prunty Sr. of Moline, |
| 4 | | who passed away on October 6, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was born to Fred W. and Virginia |
| 6 | | (Marlow) Prunty in Macomb on October 5, 1947; he served in the |
| 7 | | U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; he married Patsy L. Surber on |
| 8 | | June 7, 1969; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was employed as a painter for |
| 10 | | International Harvester, retiring after 34 years; he also |
| 11 | | worked for 13 years as a truck driver, which he loved; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was known for his sense of humor; he |
| 13 | | enjoyed vacationing in Florida, sitting on his porch and |
| 14 | | relaxing, and playing Yahtzee with his wife; above all, he |
| 15 | | loved spending time with his family; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was preceded in death by his parents |
| 17 | | and his sister, Gail; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty is survived by his wife; his son, |
| 19 | | Russ Prunty; his grandson, Joey Prunty; and his niece, Ashley |
