SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Lawrence L. "Larry" Heaton of Moline, 
4who passed away on October 6, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Larry Heaton was born to Clarence A. and Ardis V. 
6(Hatfield) Heaton in Springfield, Ohio on September 12, 1937; 
7he served in the U.S. Army; he married Karen Yeoman in Toledo, 
8Ohio on March 26, 1989; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Larry Heaton retired from Sivyer Steel Foundry in 
10Bettendorf, Iowa; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Larry Heaton enjoyed bass fishing and was an avid 
12St. Louis Cardinals fan; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Larry Heaton is survived by his wife, Karen; his 
14children, Tony (Shirley) Dean, James (Melanie) Kirk, and Leila 
15Morris; his grandchildren, Brent, Brooke, Kaitlyn, Leslie, and 
16Lexie; his sister, Joyce (Larry) Bradshaw; and his brother, 
17Robert Heaton; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Lawrence L. "Larry" Heaton and extend our sincere condolences

1to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
2it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Larry Heaton as an expression of our
