SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of William "Bill" Adams of Columbia, who 
4passed away on June 4, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bill Adams was born to Billy and Betty (Parent) 
6Adams in East St. Louis on October 6, 1956; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Bill Adams worked as a laborer with Local 100; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Bill Adams enjoyed World War II model airplanes, 
10fishing, camping, and playing his guitar; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Bill Adams was known for his great sense of humor 
12and his infectious smile; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Bill Adams was preceded in death by his parents; 
14his brother, George "Butch" Adams; and his nephew, George 
15Adams; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Bill Adams is survived by his sister, Jennie 
17Hoover; his brother, Larry Adams; his lifelong friend, Glyn 
18Ramage; his special friends, Dustin Ramage and Drew Denison; 
19the Ramage family; and other extended family; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3William "Bill" Adams and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Bill Adams as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
