SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Timothy J. "Tim" Roberts of Elk Grove 
4Village, who passed away on October 23, 2022; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tim Roberts was born in Somerville, New Jersey on 
6July 17, 1958; he was a stand-out football player at Elk Grove 
7High School and studied engineering at Southern Illinois 
8University and the University of Tennessee; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Tim Roberts was gifted at mechanical design  and 
10machining; he built custom production machines and medical 
11products before ultimately taking over as president of 
12Hospital Therapy Products, Inc.; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Tim Roberts enjoyed family gatherings, spending 
14time with his friends, boating, water skiing, hunting, 
15motorcycles, Corvettes and  Mustangs,  and his dearly departed 
16dog, Nikki; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Tim Roberts was preceded in death by his niece, 
18Lauren; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Tim Roberts was the proud father of Caroline, 
20Thomas, and Jack; the treasured son of Tom and  Marge Roberts;

1the beloved brother of Tom Jr. (Denise), Lynn (Matt), and Ann 
2(Jim); and the big-hearted uncle of Lindsay, Jake, Wes, Emily, 
3Scott, and Taylor; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Timothy J. "Tim" Roberts and extend our sincere condolences to 
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to  the family of  Tim Roberts as an expression of our 
11deepest sympathy.
