| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Stephen "Steve" P. Winne of Palm |
| 4 | | Coast, Florida, formerly of Moline, a retired Moline |
| 5 | | firefighter who passed away on November 16, 2022; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Steve Winne was born to Harry and Grace (Schell) |
| 7 | | Winne on February 21, 1947; he graduated from Moline High |
| 8 | | School and attended Fire Science classes at Black Hawk |
| 9 | | College; he served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1972; he |
| 10 | | married Karen Hoglund at Sacred Heart Church on October 1, |
| 11 | | 1976; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Steve Winne enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing |
| 13 | | with his granddaughters; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Steve Winne is survived by his wife, Karen; |
| 15 | | Michael (Erica) and Kristin; and his two granddaughters; |
| 16 | | therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
|
| 19 | | Stephen "Steve" P. Winne and extend our sincere
