| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Jim Grosso, who passed away on July 1, |
| 4 | | 2022 at the age of 73; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Grosso was born to George and Adrienne Ryan |
| 6 | | Grosso in Chicago on August 29, 1948; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Jim Grosso attended grammar school at Our Lady of |
| 8 | | the Angels and survived the infamous school fire; he later |
| 9 | | attended Fenwick High School; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Jim Grosso moved with his wife to Oak Park in |
| 11 | | 1974, where he has been a long-running participant in the |
| 12 | | Farmers Market jam circle; and |
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Jim Grosso enjoyed a successful career as a |
| 14 | | consultant and loved and supported his children and |
| 15 | | grandchildren; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Jim Grosso brought joy to many as a singer, |
| 17 | | musician, and multi-instrumentalist through his involvement in |
| 18 | | the Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps and the musical groups |
| 19 | | Thursday's Child, Grosso Family Band, and Northern Skyline; |
| 20 | | and
