| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Donald Means of Milan, who passed away |
| 4 | | on December 12, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Donald Means was born to John and Elnora |
| 6 | | (Skinner) Means on July 28, 1939; he served in the U.S. Navy; |
| 7 | | he married Verna Pettyjohn; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Donald Means worked as a welder at John Deere and |
| 9 | | Tri-City Fabrication; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Donald Means is survived by his wife, Verna; his |
| 11 | | children, Donald (Tammy) Means Jr., Walter (Cheryl) Means, and |
| 12 | | Lisa (Tracy) Anderson; eight grandchildren; and eight |
| 13 | | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Donald Means and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 17 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 | | presented to the family of Donald Means as an expression of our |
| 20 | | deepest sympathy.
