AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2, AS AMENDED, with 
3reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 1, on 
4page 6, immediately below line 20, by inserting the following:


5    "(i) Each pilot overdose prevention site shall track and 
6compile information on the success rate of persons who are 
7referred to and receive additional treatment and recovery 
8support services after utilizing the services provided at the 
9overdose prevention site. To obtain such information, each 
10pilot overdose prevention site must monitor and collect the 
11following data:
12        (1) the number of persons who seek and receive 
13    services at the overdose prevention site;
14        (2) the number of persons identified in paragraph (1) 
15    who are referred to other substance use treatment and 
16    recovery support services offered by another provider; and
17        (3) the number of persons identified in paragraph (2) 
18    who receive and complete substance use treatment or a

1    program of recovery support services offered by another 
2    provider.
3    Each pilot overdose prevention site shall compile the data 
4and information required under this subsection and submit an 
5annual report on its findings to the Department in a form and 
6manner and on a date prescribed by the Department. All 
7personally identifiable information shall be excluded from the 
8reports consistent with State and federal privacy 
9protections."; and
 
10on page 6, line 21, by replacing "(i)" with "(j)"; and
 
11on page 6, line 25, by replacing "(j)" with "(k)".
