AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 303 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 303, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, as follows:
 
5on page 1, line 4, after "by", by inserting "changing Section 
613-18.69 and by"; and
 
7on page 5 immediately below line 6, by inserting the 
8following:
 
9    "(105 ILCS 5/34-18.69)
10    Sec. 34-18.69. Moratorium on school closings, 
11consolidations, and phase-outs. The Board shall not approve 
12any school closings, consolidations, or phase-outs until 
13February 1, 2027 the Board of Education is seated on January 
1415, 2025.
