2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Act |
5 | | is amended by changing Section 4 as follows: |
6 | | (20 ILCS 3930/4) (from Ch. 38, par. 210-4) |
7 | | Sec. 4. Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority; |
8 | | creation,
membership, and meetings. There is created an |
9 | | Illinois Criminal Justice
Information Authority consisting of |
10 | | 25 members. The membership of
the
Authority shall consist of |
11 | | the Illinois Attorney General, or his or her
designee, the |
12 | | Director of Corrections, the Director
of the Illinois State |
13 | | Police, the Director of Public Health, the Director of |
14 | | Children and Family Services, the Sheriff of Cook County, the
|
15 | | State's Attorney of Cook County, the clerk of the circuit |
16 | | court of Cook
County, the President of the Cook County Board of |
17 | | Commissioners, the Superintendent of the Chicago Police
|
18 | | Department, the Director of the Office of the State's |
19 | | Attorneys Appellate
Prosecutor, the Executive Director of the |
20 | | Illinois Law Enforcement Training
Standards Board, the State |
21 | | Appellate Defender, the Public Defender of Cook County, and |
22 | | the following additional
members, each of whom
shall be |
23 | | appointed by the Governor: a circuit court clerk, a sheriff,
a |
