| 1 | | AN ACT concerning local government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 1-2-1.3 as follows:

| 6 | | (65 ILCS 5/1-2-1.3 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 1-2-1.3. Pet grooming vending machines. The corporate |
| 8 | | authorities of a municipality may adopt an ordinance to |
| 9 | | prohibit or regulate the location of vending machines that |
| 10 | | provide an enclosed space or designated area for the use of a |
| 11 | | customer for pet grooming using goods or services dispensed by |
| 12 | | the machine.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
