SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for a grant to the Lake County State's Attorney's Office for a violence interrupter program, including administrative costs. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for a grant to the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office for a violence interrupter program, including administrative costs.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
