SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes an appropriation to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to provide a power price mitigation rebate. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $200,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to provide a power price mitigation rebate to an eligible electric utility serving adversely impacted residential and small commercial customers.
Section 10. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
