| 1 | | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3026

| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3026 on page 13, by |
| 3 | | inserting immediately below line 9 the following: |
| 4 | | "(E) The rules and regulations shall provide for the |
| 5 | | recalculation of program credits awarded pursuant to this |
| 6 | | paragraph (4) prior to July 1, 2021 (the effective date of |
| 7 | | Public Act 101-652) at the rate set for such credits on and |
| 8 | | after July 1, 2021."; and

| 9 | | on page 17, line 24, by inserting "(A)" after "(4.2)"; and
|
| 10 | | on page 18, by inserting immediately below line 3 the |
| 11 | | following: |
| 12 | | "(B) The rules and regulations shall provide for the award |
| 13 | | of sentence credit under this paragraph (4.2) for qualifying |
| 14 | | days of engagement in eligible activities occurring prior to |
| 15 | | July 1, 2021 (the effective date of Public Act 101-652).".
