Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by |
| 6 | | changing Section 1005-130 as follows:

| 8 | | Sec. 1005-130. Exchange of information for child support

| 9 | | enforcement. |
| 10 | | (a) The Department has the power to exchange with the
|
| 11 | | Department of Healthcare and Family Services
information that |
| 12 | | may be necessary for the enforcement of child support
orders |
| 13 | | entered pursuant to the Illinois Public Aid Code, the Illinois |
| 14 | | Marriage
and
Dissolution of Marriage Act, the Non-Support of |
| 15 | | Spouse and Children Act, the
Non-Support Punishment Act, the
|
| 16 | | Revised Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act, the
|
|

| 1 | | Uniform Interstate Family Support Act, the Illinois Parentage |
| 2 | | Act of 1984, or the Illinois Parentage Act of 2015.

| 3 | | (b) Notwithstanding any provisions in the Civil |
| 4 | | Administrative
Code of Illinois to the contrary, the
|
| 5 | | Department of Employment Security shall not be liable
to any |
| 6 | | person for any disclosure of information to the Department of |
| 7 | | Healthcare and Family Services (formerly
Illinois Department |
| 8 | | of Public Aid) under subsection (a)
or for any other action |
| 9 | | taken in good faith to comply with the requirements of
|
| 10 | | subsection (a).
|
| 11 | | (c) The Department may collaborate with the Department of |
| 12 | | Healthcare and Family Services to identify employment |
| 13 | | opportunities in the State for persons who are in arrears in |
| 14 | | child support obligations. The Department shall share the |
| 15 | | identified opportunities with the public on its |
| 16 | | IllinoisJobLink.com system or a successor website system to |
| 17 | | allow job seekers to search online for employment |
| 18 | | opportunities that match the skills of the persons seeking |
| 19 | | employment. |
