AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3751 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3751, AS AMENDED, 
3in Section 3, Sec. 3-6033, in the sentence starting with "The 
4It is unlawful for the sheriff", by replacing "United States 
5or is legally authorized to work
in the United States under 
6federal law.", with "United States or who  is legally 
7authorized to work
in the United States under federal law and, 
8upon federal approval, to obtain, carry, or purchase or 
9otherwise possess a firearm."; and


 
10in Section 3, Sec. 3-7008, in the sentence starting with "In 
11addition,", by replacing "United States or is legally 
12authorized to work
in the United States under federal law,", 
13with "United States or legally authorized to work
in the 
14United States under federal law and, upon federal approval, to 
15obtain, carry, or purchase or otherwise possess a firearm,";

2starting with "An individual", by replacing "applicants are 
3subject.", with "applicants are subject, and subject to

6in Section 5, Sec. 10-2.1-6, subsection (a), in the sentence 
7starting with "An individual", by replacing "applicants are 
8subject.", with "applicants are subject, and subject to 
9federal approval of the individual  to obtain, carry, or 
10purchase or otherwise possess a firearm.".
