| 1 | AN ACT concerning State government.

| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 4 | Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding | ||||||
| 5 | Section 37 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (5 ILCS 460/37 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 37. Official State bean. The soybean is designated as | ||||||
| 8 | the official State bean of the State of Illinois.
